Parish Council

Our purpose is to assist the pastor in the setting of broad policy directions for the parish. This is done through open and honest dialogue and through participation and assisting in the parish affairs.   Membership is limited to 20 parishioners, 16 years or older having been confirmed and appointed (with council recommendation) by the pastor.  Presently there are 15 members.  If you would like more information, please contact the Rectory at 891-1906.

 

Finance Committee

Our Finance Committee assists the pastor in the preparation of the annual parish budget, reviews monthly financial reports, advises on fund-raising efforts, and provides aid and advice in other areas as requested by the pastor.  For more information or to join, please contact Patrick Carr at PCarr@MalcolmDienes.com

 

Sanctuary Society

Our Sanctuary Society prepares the church for the weekend Masses. For more information or to join, come to the church any Saturday morning at 9 am.

 

Eucharistic Ministers

Eucharistic Ministers are men and women, aged 18 years or older, who are Confirmed, active and participating members in good standing in the Catholic community, who desire to serve the Lord by assisting in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ.  If you are interested in becoming a Eucharistic Minister, please contact the Rectory...

Neocatechumens

The Neocatechumenal Way is defined by His Holiness Pope John Paul II when he writes: "I recognize the Neocatechumenal Way as an itinerary of Catholic formation, valid for our society and for our times."  The Neocatechumenal Way is a form of diocesan implementation of Christian initiation and of ongoing education in faith, in accordance with the indications of the Second Vatican Council and the Magisterium of the Church. St. Vincent de Paul Society

Green Thumbs

The purpose of Green Thumbs is to make the outside area in front of the school, around the church and rectory as attractive as possible.  We meet on Saturday mornings at 9:00 a.m. to work.  We sweep up leaves, pick up litter, trim, etc.  In time, we would like to do a little planting of flowers at the rectory.  Right now our flower pots on the steps look bad!  We could even tackle the job of painting the iron fence.  Interested in joining us to help liven up our Church?  Then stop by Saturday mornings at 9!
